Par antiphrase (un peu facile, certes), on pourrait dire de ces jeunes filles qu'elles sont… culottées. Or c'est tout l'inverse: radieuses, belles, naturelles, elles ont choisi de s'exhiber dans les rues et sur les parkings, dans les bars et sur les plages toutes nues, oui, mais sans provocation ni revendication, juste pour le plaisir.   These pictures by photographer Jan Vels show young women presenting themselves nude in public: in the pedestrian zone of a big city, in a pizzeria, among the spectators at a marathon race, strolling through a wintry landscape, or sitting in a car. Each of these locations and situations is a place where ordinary citizens wouldn't necessarily expect to encounter a beautiful nude woman. Jan Vels: "The most exciting aspect of my photographic actions are the incalculable responses of the audience when we suddenly appear in public with a nude girl. I just want to stand up for individual freedom and the joy of living."
